As you are aware from our training day, the GHD dams and geotechnical
design team frequently use 4WD's to access soil drilling sites in remote
areas.  As such, having a common base of 4WD expertise is an important part
of minimising potential for injury or harm to our team (in accordance with
GHD's OH&S policy).

Feedback from our group, two of whom have done 4WD training with other
people in the past, is that your training was focussed, fun and really
improved the general level of skill and confidence among the group.

The nervous and inexperienced members in my team left the course being able
to choose a route which minimised damage to vehicles and had the confidence
to traverse rough country in safety.  The same cannot be said of the other
course that my staff had attended, which focussed on theory and did not
leave the participants with the same practical knowledge and confidence as
the Global4WD course.

Even experienced off road drivers, such as our geologist and myself picked
up new skills.  (In my case, having done a number of outback trips and
driven a number of local 4WD parks I learnt that the vehicle loads during
snatch recovery vary as a function of the slack in the strap).  It is a
credit to you and your team that you are people oriented enough to ensure
that all participants leave the course better than they started, as opposed
to just delivering the bare minimum to meet the course content.  The
location is superb also, it is nice to spend a day in the bush in a
relaxing environment.

I highly recommend Global4WD to any organisation requiring off road driver
training.  It is a cost effective way of really improving staff skills,
reducing the likelihood of accident or injury and reducing potential for
damage to company vehicles.
