What is it Like?

4WD toursMeals will be simple camp cooking but of the best quality we can provide with available ingredients.

Breakfasts alternate between a cooked breakfast and a continental breakfast.

Lunch will normally be prepared sandwiches or rolls or perhaps a salad with meats or quiche; something that saves time on the road.

Dinners include a main course and alternate between a soup and desert.

Breakfasts and dinners will normally be eaten on the knee. Most people don't bother to unpack chairs for lunch.

Toilet facilities will be available each night but seldom through the day.

With very rare exceptions, showers will be available each night.

Driving is usually scheduled so that you will be in camp by mid-afternoon but occasionally a longer day is necessary.

Rest days will be programmed where there are suitable facilities.

Participants are expected to help with washing up and collecting firewood.

Help with setting up toilets, showers and fireplaces is always appreciated.
